I like the solid strength of crossbeams hewn from the many ringed tree… Nature’s nobility lingers though stripped of leaves and root: her life. Certainly creation’s ability to adapt to circumstance is credited to limber limbs entwined in careful construction. But to remain stoic- when laughter erupts at the amazement of safe passage through the storm- this is timber’s role. She refuses to bow or to break even under the generous gratitude of those who took shelter and lived.
Very nice lines! Looks like this post inspired you. Timber has this dual identity: soft and strong. In a stone house, it becomes the soft inhabitant. Thanks for sharing your very inspired thoughts.
