  1. I like the solid strength of crossbeams hewn from the many ringed tree… Nature’s nobility lingers though stripped of leaves and root: her life. Certainly creation’s ability to adapt to circumstance is credited to limber limbs entwined in careful construction. But to remain stoic- when laughter erupts at the amazement of safe passage through the storm- this is timber’s role. She refuses to bow or to break even under the generous gratitude of those who took shelter and lived.
