Interesting social dynamic going on here! I have noticed that many people are uncomfortable when confronted with a camera. It is as if deep in their soul, they realize they could or might be judged, but they can’t be sure. It is natural, almost instinctual to try the best we can as flawed human beings to cover up our vulnerabilities. Somehow the camera brings this fear of being “laid bare” to the surface. Great pic!
It always seemed strange to me how people always go to their default pose for every picture. You know that smile and posture. For me it seems ridiculous, why would you want to look the SAME in every picture! But considering your explanation, this makes a lot of sense. Interesting…
