Well, it does when they are confronted with the loss of their womanhood/femininity (I’d removed the eyelashes, eyebrows, gave her a head scarf to make her appear bald) It makes them feel less. I don’t want to make anyone feel less. I’ve too much heart.
It’s art. Where there’s no bad itentions there’s no harm.
